For residents & expats

Your everyday dentist
in Nagoya — in English.

Living in Nagoya or staying long-term? Eden Dental Office is also your regular dentist. Check-ups, cleaning, cavity treatment, and second opinions — all explained in English.

What we offer

General & preventive dental care,
explained in English.

Check-ups & cleaning

Routine dental exams, professional teeth cleaning, and oral hygiene guidance. Keeping your teeth healthy is easier when your dentist speaks your language. We recommend a visit every 6 months.

Cavity treatment

Tooth decay caught early is simple to treat. We use tooth-colored composite fillings and ceramic inlays for a natural look and long-lasting result. No metal fillings unless you prefer them.

Second opinions

Not sure about a treatment plan from another clinic? Bring your X-rays and records — we are happy to review your case and explain your options in English, with no obligation.

Ongoing care for expats

Many international residents in Nagoya choose us as their regular dentist. We keep your records in English, coordinate with specialists when needed, and make sure nothing gets lost in translation.

Questions

Common questions from residents.

I don't speak Japanese well. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Dr. Murai trained in the United States and speaks fluent English. All consultations, explanations, and paperwork can be done in English.

How often should I get a check-up?

We recommend a check-up and professional cleaning every 6 months. If you have specific concerns, we may suggest more frequent visits.

Can I get a second opinion on treatment recommended by another clinic?

Yes. Bring your X-rays and any records you have, and we will review your case and explain your options in English. There is no obligation to proceed with treatment here.

Do you treat children?

We primarily focus on adult dentistry, including prosthodontics, implants, and aesthetic treatments. For pediatric dental care, we can recommend a trusted pediatric dentist in the area.
